Grief, Trauma & Injury
Gentle, honest support when life feels overwhelming
Life doesn’t always go the way we expect. Loss, trauma, and sudden change can leave lasting marks – not just in our minds, but in our bodies and our sense of self.
Whether you’re grieving a loved one, struggling after a life-changing injury, or carrying the weight of past trauma, it can be hard to know where to turn.
At Amanda Graham Hypnotherapy, I offer a safe, calm space to begin processing what’s happened – without judgment, without pressure, and without needing to “move on” before you’re ready.
This work is about helping you feel more in control again. Less stuck. More able to cope, even when things still feel raw. Because healing doesn’t mean forgetting – it means learning to carry your experience with a little more ease.

Understanding grief & trauma.
Grief and trauma can take many forms – and they don’t always look like we expect. You might feel overwhelmed. You might feel numb. You might be angry, anxious, exhausted, or completely unsure of how you feel.
That’s okay. Whatever you’re carrying, and however it shows up, your experience is valid.
Whether it’s the death of a loved one, a relationship breakdown, a serious accident, or unresolved pain from the past, hypnotherapy can offer a supportive way to begin working through the emotions, memories, and patterns that may be holding you back.

HOW HYPNOTHERAPY CAN HELP WITH GRIEF, TRAUMA & INJURY
When we experience trauma or deep loss, the mind can sometimes get “stuck” in a cycle – replaying events, holding onto pain, or reacting with fear long after the danger has passed.
Hypnotherapy works by calming the nervous system and helping the subconscious mind begin to release those patterns. You stay in control throughout, and nothing is forced – instead, we gently work with the emotions and beliefs that have formed, helping you feel safer, calmer, and more connected to yourself.
We might focus on:
Easing anxiety or emotional overwhelm
Releasing guilt, anger, or unresolved emotions
Creating space for rest and emotional recovery
Rebuilding confidence and trust in yourself
Finding a sense of peace with what’s happened
You don’t have to “move on.” But you can move forward, one step at a time.
A space where you're seen and heard.
I know how important it is to feel safe when talking about the things that hurt.
That’s why everything we do is built on honesty, kindness, and respect. You’ll never be rushed or pushed. This is your space, and you decide how it’s used.
Some clients come just to talk and relax. Others want to explore deeper patterns. Whatever feels right for you is right for us.
