How it works
01
First of all, I will have a chat with you to discuss what you hope to achieve. I will have prepared a script for you in advance. Then we will begin the session.
I will start off by leading you into a deeply relaxed state.
I will use lots of repetition and mental images to help you focus.
02
When you are in this state - in your subconscious mind - you will have heightened focus and concentration and respond more readily to situations such as changing your behaviour or facing a fear. In some cases, we may help you find the root cause of your problem if you didn't know it already.
03
You will be fully in control when under hypnosis and do not have to take on my suggestions if you do not want to. You will not be asleep or unconscious at any time. You can also bring yourself out of hypnosis at any point if you do not feel comfortable, but I can assure you I am fully trained and it is a completely safe process.
04
When we are done, I will bring you gradually bring you out of your hypnotic state. Most people feel refreshed and relaxed during and after the session.
We will then discuss any follow up sessions that may be required. Be assured I will give you an honest assessment and not encourage you to attend future appointments you don't need.
It's important to note that hypnosis does not work if you do not want to be hypnotised. If someone is forcing you to be there, I can't promise to help unless you want to be helped.
The process is proven to work because all your beliefs, habits and past learnings are stored in your subconscious mind. This is where you store things such as knowing how to ride a bike, tie your shoelaces, tie your tie, speak a foreign language or drive a car. Past traumas, bad habits, fears and phobias are all stored in there as well and through relaxation and positive reinforcement, I can help you to rewire your brain.
Please ignore any preconceptions you may have around hypnotists on TV or in pubs or theatres. Their objective is to entertain whereas my objective is to help you. There are definitely no swinging stopwatches involved!
